Dinner on Saturday evening was a Rustic Mediterranean Chicken Stew that included vegetables roasted in the masonry heater’s oven. Here we are roasting red, yellow and purple fingerling potatoes and eggplant. You should hear them sizzle!
We are expanding our repertoire of items from the oven and having fun at the same time. To date we have made flatbreads, focaccia, baguettes, and Italian sausages. What’s next? A game hen, perhaps? I can smell it now.
